Your Place In Ministry

Everyone has something they are good at.  The Bible tells us that this is the unique way God gets us to work together, serve one another, and ultimately share the gospel. Our example, as we serve together, is a blessing to others.  Actions speak louder than words.

  • We know that there is a large number of people in Osceola County who go without the basic needs of everyday life, food and shelter. Moreover, so many of these individuals suffer from hurts, hang-ups and habits that have never been addressed biblically.

Kissimmee Christian Church is pleased to provide a worship service committed to those in our community who are homeless or in transition.  This service is offered every Sunday at 12:30PM for a time of worship, communion, message and a hot meal.

If you would like to join the team leading worship, greeting these folks or preparing the meal contact staff@kissimmeechristianchurch.org.

  • We are committed to being an active part of the city of Kissimmee.  Several times throughout the year we do "Seek the City" projects. Some of those include partnering with Habitat for Humanity, City/Church wide picnics at the Lakefront, partnering with Grace Landing foster homes, the crisis pregnancy center, the battered women's shelter, and "Light Night" Halloween alternative at Chick-Fil-A and much more.  Check out our EVENTS page to see the most current projects ministering to our city.

  • Feet on the Ground (F.O.G.) is a ministry providing support for deployed military troops in the form of care packages and consistent prayer. We have also begun ministering to our local law enforcement through appreciation dinners and other support.

Here are a couple different ways you can get involved in this much-needed ministry:

Purchasing supplies for the individual care packages

    (download a list of Needed_Supplies.docx)

Donating money to help with shipping costs

Participate in our monthly morning box packing party. Contact the church office or see Facebook for the next packing date & time.

Be a part of hosting our next law enforcement appreciation event.

If you know of a service man or woman who could benefit from this ministry, please let us know at staff@kissimmeechristianchurch.org. Join us on Facebook: Feet On the Ground Ministry.

  • At Kissimmee Christian we value supporting missions directly connected to the Churches of Christ and Christian Churches who are founded in the Restoration Movement. In 2013 the church at Kissimmee gave over $171,000 in missions giving. Over the last 38 years of giving to missions, the church has given over 4 million dollars to missionary work. We support 18 different missionaries serving the Lord both here and abroad. We not only support missions financially, we send teams on missions trips.  Many of the missions we support are "Timothy's" who were part of our church and decided to become full time missionaries.  READ ON

  • It takes over 200 volunteers to lead in our children and student ministries.  If you have a heart for the next generation of the church there is a spot for you!  Contact our CHILDREN or STUDENT ministers.  They would love to talk to you!

  • There are a host of CONNECT greeters and WORSHIP team and TECH team members that make our church flourish each week.  We are known for our friendly atmosphere and our excellent worship services.  But it is only because of people who use their talents.  Do you value that first impression that a visitor gets when they walk through the door? Contact our CONNECT minister.  Are you interested in joining our worship  or tech team? Contact our WORSHIP minister or TECH director.
