Why a Haitian Service?
We are committed to making Christ known to our whole community. There is a large Haitian population in the Kissimmee-Poinciana area. In the fall of 2015 we partnered with a thriving Haitian ministry in Ft. Lauderdale to reach french creole speakers here. Our congregation is a mosaic that we pray reflects and attracts the community in which we live.
We are so privileged to be working alongside our Haitian community. God has done some incredible things in this intercultural program. When this branch of our church started around 8 years ago, they begin with around 30 members. Today they assemble in our gymnasium each Sunday morning and average over 175 in worship. They have two revivals each year as well as choir practice and youth programs that meet weekly. We are so grateful to have them as a part of our ministry team here at KCC.
