Visiting somewhere new usually comes with a few questions. Here are some of the things people often want to know before their first Sunday at KCC.
01 How long is the service?
A typical Sunday service lasts about 75 minutes. You'll experience worship, prayer, Communion, and a practical message centered on Jesus and Scripture.
02 What should I wear?
Whatever you're comfortable in. You'll see everything from jeans and casual clothes to Sunday best. There's no dress code-come as you are.
03 Do I have to give money?
No. As our guest, you're welcome to simply experience the service with us. Giving is an opportunity for those who consider KCC their church home, not an expectation we place on visitors.
04 Do I need to bring a Bible?
You're welcome to bring one, but you don't need to. Come exactly as you are. We'll make it easy to follow along during the message.
05 What happens during Communion?
Communion is a time during our worship service when we remember Jesus-His sacrifice, His grace, and what He has done for us. If you're visiting, don't worry about knowing exactly what to do. You can simply observe or participate as you feel comfortable.
06 Where do my kids go?
KC Kids has age-appropriate environments for preschool and elementary children during our Sunday services. If it's your first time, arrive a few minutes early and our team will help you with check-in and show you exactly where to go.
07 Can my child stay with me?
If having your child with you helps your family feel more comfortable on your first visit, that's okay. KC Kids is available when you're ready, and our team will be happy to show you around or answer questions.
08 Is your building accessible?
If you or someone in your family has an accessibility need, we'd be glad to help make your visit as easy as possible. When you arrive, one of our team members can help you find the best entrance, seating, or route to where you need to go.
09 What do you believe?
We're a Christian church centered on Jesus and grounded in Scripture. We believe in one God-Father, Son, and Holy Spirit-and that salvation is found in Jesus Christ. We'd love for you to explore our beliefs in more detail.
